What I love about the home

It's an 8-minute walk to the D-line bus stop at Ballard High School, and a 10-15 minute walk to the Library, Post Office, shopping, restaurants, and everything else this great neighborhood has to offer! The main floor has a 160 sq ft master bedroom with built-ins and a view of the beautiful Japanese Maple tree in the front yard. Two smaller rooms facing the backyard have large windows providing dramatic views of a huge tree on the other side of the alley and the Kiwi, Asian Pear, Cherry, and Apple trees in our backyard. The full daylight basement is very open, providing 982 mostly uninterrupted square feet of space that could be used for workshop, hobby, recreation, business or storage space A 120 sq ft bedroom with a view of the front yard's flower garden that could alternatively be used as an office, sewing room, storage room, etc., occupies the rest of the basement. The garage, which adjoins the alley, provides ample storage for a large car, a small motorboat, a workbench, and lots of storage. We plug our motorhome into the garage when it's parked on our alley-side driveway. A 120 sq ft garden shed provides additional room for building materials, bikes, and more storage.
