Neighborhood Description
The Tahoe Keys is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Tahoe, and one of the least expensive areas to afford direct lake access -- from your very own boat dock! Wide streets that get a lot of sun, which means less ice to deal with in the winter. Keys amenities include an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and a homeowners pavillion. Close to shopping, a short drive to the casinos, be on the lift at Heavenly in 10 minutes or Sierra in 20. This is THE place to live in Tahoe.
 

What I love about the home

Great sun and great views, endless recreational opportunities provided by the meadow across the street. Cross country skiing right out your front door, ski to Pope beach (about 10 minutes) and the Beacon. Take a left out the driveway and in minutes you're biking through the forest. Kayak or paddleboard out the back door. Home is in an HOA with 2 pools, indoor and out, plus hot tubs plus tennis courts and basketball courts, also facilities for large groups. This is one of the few houses in the Tahoe Keys that does not have any houses across the street. This allows for unobstructed views of the meadow and mountains and increases the feeling of peacefulness. Most house adjacent to it are second homes, and therefore unoccupied much of the time, again increasing serenity.
