Opulent executive pool home located in the prestigious gated community of Westover Reserve. The house was extensively remodeled and repainted in 2014. Every square foot of flooring was replaced with either dark, hand scraped hardwood or elegant marble. Both AC units were replaced (both the air handlers inside and units outside) and new updated lighting was added throughout the house. The master bathroom and pool bath were fully remodeled with marble flooring and frameless glass showers, and dual white quartz vanities. The master closets were updated with a custom California closet system. Plantation shutters, large baseboards, and crown molding were added throughout the house.The kitchen was updated with all new stainless steel appliances, (including a GE induction cooktop and LG refrigerator) and a customized pantry organization system was added. The home has an excellent floor plan with a private and luxurious first floor master retreat. The front entry to the house is impressive with new, 10 panel douglas fir french doors, and an elegant arched foyer that leads to the formal living and dining areas, both of which have high ceilings and large windows, framed with either beautiful plantation shutters or crown molding. The well-appointed custom kitchen has fine wood cabinetry, a new travertine backsplash, granite countertops, a center island, a planning desk, a customized walk-in pantry and a 4 seat granite breakfast bar. The adjacent breakfast nook has trayed ceilings, a mitered glass window framed by custom crown molding, which overlooks the heated pool, spa and brick-pavered lanai. The large family room has wall to wall built-ins, with a large adjoining 3 section sliding glass door(which is also framed by custom crown molding) that brings the outdoors in. The private master suite features a sitting area with French doors opening to the lanai, a large divided walk-through closet, which was recently updated with an extensive California closet organization system. The master bathroom was fully updated in 2014 and features marble floors and shower tiles, trayed ceilings, crown molding, his and her new white quartz vanities, a new large jetted soaking tub, and a custom glass frameless shower with a shaving bench. There are two additional bedrooms on the first floor with an adjacent, recently updated full bathroom. The pool bathroom, which is perfect for visitors, was fully remodeled and features marble floors, marble shower tiles, a frameless glass shower and a gorgeous white-marble vanity. The second floor has a very large bonus room with a wet bar, a homework station, a gaming area, a lounge area with built-in entertainment units and plenty of room for exercise equipment. A brand new sliding glass door leads to a small balcony which overlooks the back yard and conservation area beyond. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs with another full bathroom updated with marble flooring. The screened in pool, spa and lanai is complete with a first-rate summer kitchen with wooden cabinets, a new built-in gas grill, a refrigerator and a large granite serving bar. Lush, updated Florida landscaping, including more than 18 palm trees, graces the grounds of this home. There is also a side entry 3 car garage. There are community tennis and basketball courts, a tot lot and a walking path in the gated neighborhood as well.
Neighborhood Description
The gated neighborhood is close to shopping, great schools, restaurants and thoroughfares. It is safe and quiet, with great neighbors.
There are 2 ponds with large fountains at the entrance of the community, and the neighborhood features both a tennis and basketball court.
 
What I love about the home
Westover Reserve is an excellent gated community with friendly residents, and is close to great shopping (2-5 miles), expressways(the 408 and Florida Turnpike are close and easily accessible),excellent restaurants (2-6 miles), lakes, hospitals, and parks. Downtown Orlando and I-4 are a mere 10 miles away via the 408. Universal Studios is 12 minutes away and the Disney attractions are 25 minutes down Apopka-Vineland Road, which is directly adjacent to the entrance of the neighborhood 20 miles from the International Airport 50 to an hour from from the Atlantic beaches
