Spacious attic easily converts to apartment or cool ?pad? for teenager or young adult. Chestnut wood throughout house; old-world detail. 2.5 bedrooms: two medium-sized and one small. 1.5 bath. Hardwood floors. Prestigious address, ?2 Forest Court.? House and property kept non-toxic; great for keeping kids healthy. No through traffic so great for kids playing. Negligible crime. Large park with pond and children?s amusements right around the corner. Block never lost power during Hurricane Sandy. Basement is always dry and did not flood during Sandy.
Largely Orthodox Jewish neighborhood in Passaic Park, N.J. Active cull-de-sac with mostly young Jewish families. Two rabbis on the block. Temple two blocks away; Jewish pre-school two blocks away; Jewish school three blocks away. Can also be converted into small school, or study or cultural center.
Photo shown is not recent. Home is fine for immediate move-in; everything is functional, though needs modicum of work in these areas: carpentry (interior steps; doors; kitchen cabinet; drywall), electrical (overhead fixtures; more outlets), masonry (driveway; steps), and roofing (small hole in garage roof). House roof and furnace are fine; basement is always dry. Kitchen and main bathroom are small, but kitchen can be considered cozy and can even be opened to dining room. Exterior of home can be enlarged as well, as many families do in this neighborhood.
Family circumstances prevent us from showing the home optimally. Thus, prospective buyers touring will find the interior of the home and grounds messy and cluttered, reflecting real life.
