The Gibbes Street entrance features a Neo-classical revival door surrounded atop grand steps. The double tiered "piazza side" of the property overlooks walled gardens, lush and deep. The pool area to the rear of the property offers unsurpassed privacy. This grand "Charleston Single" features a side hall plan with double parlors. The spacious kitchen offers plenty of space with a separate breakfast room and charming den all overlooking the rear porch and pool area. To the rear of the kitchen/den space is a functional laundry room with rear stairs to a separate guest/au pair suite. The second level begins with a handsome paneled library on the street side of that floor. There is a full bath ensuite, could be a 6th bedroom if needed.
