Neighborhood Description
On the cusp of NoPa, Lower Pacific Heights, and the Western Addition. Technically in the "Historic Beideman District." Bright neighborhood. Transitional area (it's very nice now, and getting better, but it wasn't so nice 10 years ago). Close to Fillmore Street (lots of shops, restaurants, bars), big park across the street adjacent to Western Addition library (just renovated and reopened Feb 2, 2008!), local middle school/high school down the street ranked in top 8 in Northern CA (according to the sign on the building). Another park at the end of the street. Public transportation 1 block away.
 
What I love about the home
Close to great restaurants, night life, parks, library, schools, shops, public transportation, hospitals. Separate 1-br upstairs, studio with patio downstairs - can rent out studio (currently getting $1200/month).
