My Notes

203 Roup Ave. is the best renovation currently on the market. The home has undergone a head-to-toe remodel. The roof is new, as are the windows, HVAC, plumbing and electrical. All the interior and exterior spaces have been painstakingly improved. The location of the home is fantastic. It sits between Penn Ave., Liberty Ave. and right on the edge of Shadyside. There is a large back yard to accommodate any family, and ample room for off-street parking, or a garage. The home's front porch has composite decking under-foot, and is an inviting place for your morning coffee. The entry door is a stunning solid wood Craftsman-style door with side lights, and dental molding.Through the door you find the gracious entry, and the stairwell with all its beautiful details. The flooring on the first and second floor is the original, warm pine floors. They are stunning. The living room is a large room at 13x19, with big windows that let in loads of natural light. The home's dining room is the same size, and is also sun-soaked. Both rooms are ready for gas inserts in the original fire places. The kitchen features top-of-the-line GE stainless steel appliances, shimmering black granite counter tops, and classic white Shaker-style cabinetry. For added convenience, there is first floor laundry with stackable washer/dryer included. There is also a first floor powder room. The second floor features a master bedroom that was originally two rooms; it has great angles, and the original fireplace (ready for insert) with mantle, and a wonderful walk-in closet. The master attaches to the Jack and Jill bathroom. The bathroom has unique subway tiles, and classic vanity. There are two additional bedrooms on the second floor, both of ample size. The third floor holds two more big bedrooms (both 18x16), and another full bathroom with the same subway tile. The home is a show-stopper, and is ready for its new owner.  More Less
