Market guide

Zillow predicts Astoria home values will rise 2.8% next year, compared to a 2.9% increase for New York as a whole. Among Astoria homes, this home is valued 22.2% more than the midpoint (median) home, but is valued 40.3% less per square foot.

Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years. In Astoria, the number of foreclosures waiting to be sold is 476.1% higher than in New York, and 37.5% greater than the national average. This higher local number may prevent Astoria home values from rising as quickly as other regions in New York.
