What I love about the home

Historic home in the heart of South Tampa, just a short distance away from million dollar homes. South of Kennedy in a purely residential area, This home is a fantastic investment! Enter through the front door or through the carport into a freshly painted and tiled sun room, a peaceful sitting area perfect for people watching. Follow the "Key West"-style shot gun layout through the living room, dining room, eat in kitchen and then inside utility. Wood burning fireplace features period perfect tile! Other historic touches include vented doors, high ceilings, cedar closet and a retro half bath. Main bath is in the hallway between bedrooms and has been completely updated. Two good-sized bedrooms with large closets finish the other side of the home and off the second bedroom is a den/office/nursery/art studio or third bedroom. The half bath is off this room. Out the back door from the kitchen and utility room are steps leading to a xeriscaped back yard with plenty of sitting areas, a shaded potting area behind a large, open air structure that could be a work shop, artist studio, elaborate playhouse or whatever your heart desires! There's also a covered seating area in front of the detached garage, better suited for storage than parking, which could also probably be converted to a studio apartment; it's certainly big enough, but you'd want to check with the city.
