My Notes

This brick cottage is adorable and conveniently located to downtown and Washington Road. Situated on a large, fenced-in lot with a single carport. Great starter home! Formal living room features gleaming hardwood floors and enough space for an office area. Sunny dining room has large windows and recently updated flooring. Kitchen is immaculate with clean white cabinets and an access door to the back deck. Great for outdoor entertaining. Full bath is located in the hallway and it features a nice medicine cabinet and large bathtub. Spacious bedrooms have very clean carpet and orginal hardwood floors are beneath. Location is everything with this home. The Green Jackets Stadium is so close that the fireworks can be seen from the front porch. Home is also located within walking distance to Lake Olmstead and the Augusta Canal trails. 

What I love about the home

Seller Says: Augusta has just about everything you need. There is a vibrant arts and music scene and plenty of interesting local businesses. The traffic never gets bad like in bigger cities and parking is almost never an issue. It's big enough to have lots of fun stuff, but not so big that it takes more than 20 minutes to get across town. Our home is located within walking distance to Lake Olmstead, the Green Jackets Stadium and the Augusta Canal trails. We love to walk our dogs by the lake and ride our bikes down the canal trail which leads all the way to the Savannah Rapids Pavilion. We are minutes from some of our favorite downtown restaurants like Pizza Joint, Mellow Mushroom and Nacho Mamas. Our house is also very close to Washington Road. Vallarta's Mexican Restaurant is one of our favorite places to visit on Washington Rd. There are 3 Kroger stores within 5 miles of our house. As well as a Dollar General store less than a mile away. We are also close to the stores in North Augusta, like Walmart, Kmart, Dillards and Big Lots. The Green Jackets Stadium is so close that we can watch the fireworks they set off from our front porch. The bedrooms in the home are large and the yard is a nice size with lots of green grass. The detached garage with extra storage room has been a great added bonus to this cute little home.
