My Notes

Brick home on slab on corner lot. New thermal windows in 1997, New water heater in 2004, New furnace/AC in 2005, New gas stove in 2006, New side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice in door in 2007, All new floor coverings in 2008. One car garage. Two additional buildings on the property. One is an older, 12' 16' workshop that is insulated and finished, with electric. The second building is 10 years old, 12' X 20' story and a half - insulated and wired - not connected to the electric supply at this time. This outbuilding passed city inspection. Three small cracks in exterior walls. Four windows have cracks in one of the double panes.
Since I first posted this I've had a tenant who wanted to buy that did some damage. I am in the process of stripping out some of the floor coverings and drywall. It will need new floor coverings, some drywall work, paint inside and out, and landscaping. He was in the process of putting drip lines in around the foundation, and didn't finish. The chain link fence was messed up. I have it secured for my dogs, but it needs fixed. I was going to do all of this myself, but was recently certified to teach in my home state of Ohio and would like to move back to begin my job hunt there.
I already went the rent-to-own route with my last tenant. I am not willing to owner-finance or work with companies who rent out houses. I want to sell this house outright and am willing to negotiate.
Neighborhood Description
This is a quiet neighborhood with good neighbors and some older, original residents from the GM plant.

What I love about the home

Mature trees including 2 pecan trees. Large corner lot with spacious fenced-in back yard. Lots of storage or "mother-in-law" space in additional buildings. Brick exterior is easy maintenence. Beautiful and functional gas fireplace in family room.
