Well-maintained hardwood floors throughout with inlaid border, with parquet on the first level. Three large bedrooms on the upper level and one at ground level with own entrance. Master bath ensuite. Large attic space with plenty of storage. Tiered, landscaped beds frame the house with low-maintenance plants including the regal Canary Island Date Palms seen on the Embarcadero, Market Street and other prominent city avenues. Built in 1939 by one of the engineers on the Golden Gate Bridge.

What I love about the home

Just 5-10 minutes from Judah, Noriega, Taraval, West Portal and Sloat commercial areas and two blocks to L-Taraval light rail stop. There are many more sunny days by the beach than is reputed, and great local spots like Celia's mexican restaurant, Outerlands, Other Avenues grocery, Trouble Coffee, Java Beach, Andytown, Judahlicious and Devil's Teeth bakery.
