My Notes

Edit
LONGEST AVENUE, such a lovely address for anyone wanting to live within Cherokee Triangle. This beautiful traditional home is breaking the heart of it's owners as the work world takes away this treasured location. The front porch is one of those you actually use with two swings and just a few wide steps to the front walk way and landscaped front beds, and a block from the entrance to Cherokee Park. Once inside, the foyer is welcoming and you can see the wood floors all through the first floor and the open floor plan. Wonderful light from the large windows gleams into each room, the living room opens to the formal dining room and on into the eat in kitchen, white cabinets and granite counters. The high ceilings make every room feel elegant, as do the nooks and turns into the corner just before the stair where one might sit a spell , a guest bath, recently re-done and the butler's pantry! Outside the kitchen door is a huge deck covered for all weather use and a walk way down to patio area, well landscaped (for easy care) back yard. Up the turned stairway to the second floor, the hallway landing opens to two bedrooms of good size, big windows to the street side of the house, both with fireplaces, charming, inviting! The Master Bedroom has a large closet and it's own fireplace as well with adjacent handsome master bath and an ideally finished closet room amply fitted PLUS Laundry - - a special marble topped vanity for extra use! The third floor is a virtual hide away, 4th bedroom with beamed ceiling, walk in closet on the hallway which could become another bath. An extra room used for attic storage at the back. The freshly painted exterior is a true value, the Century Marker by the front door will interest those who enjoy historic homes. The heated two car garage opens to the yard and to the alley behind with walkways on each side, fenced and gated. Shown by Appointment.  More Less
