A wonderful home for family and entertaining. The 6,000 square feet plus is an open floor plan filled with light from the enormous windows in every room. The acre plus allows privacy during the leaf season when no homes are visible from the home. The winding driveway keeps the house invisible from the street. The way the home is situated on the lot to give you the feel of living in a tree house. The main floor has hardwoods except in the master bedroom. The living room has a wet bar and fireplace.The open kitchen easily accommodates a table for 10 and has a breakfast bar which seats five. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a center island.The master on the main has a trey ceiling and fireplace. The master bath has a jetted jaccuzi and a separate shower spa complete with bench. A walk-in closet with built-in shoe racks plus built in draws. Three bedrooms are upstairs with a bath plus another room prefect for a nursery/study room. Also you will find a partial walk-in attic. The finished basement is 2000 sq ft with a beautiful built-in bar and fireplace all above ground. Plus a very large bedroom with a walk-in closet and full bath. The home has two screened in porches and a large deck, The lot is a gentle walk to the single slip dock with an upstairs for guest to enjoy the lake. There is also jet ski dock and water and electricity to the dock as well., Lake side is a built-in swing which is the perfect place to read a book or just take in the quite cove we enjoy. The walkway to the lake is lite allowing wonderful moonlight lake rides and easy navigation back to the house. Their is a two car garage on the main level and a boat garage which run the full length of the house allowing for the perfect craft room/workroom or man cave.The home is located in the wonderful subdivision Sidney On Lanier which is in between Ga 400 or 985 on Highway 53..It is worth a look ...but don't come unless you are prepared to fall in love.

What I love about the home

Is the serenity and seclusion. It truly is like living ins a tree house as you look and and see beautiful hardwoods, often spotting deer in the backyard. But the home is located so close to the main body of water which makes it easy to get to either end of the lake.
