Solid colonial home. New roof, paint, and gas water heater in 2010. New gas boiler last year. Hardwood floors, crown moldings, and chair railings. Built in china cabinet in dining room. Most woodwork is stained not painted. This is a charming home with character that is awaiting your family. Partially finished basement can be used as family room or bedroom with walk out to patio and back yard. Lots of storage in the unfinished basement rooms and attic.
Neighborhood Description
This is a safe, quiet, family neighborhood. The streets are private roads that are only used by the residents. Children are secure and can play in front of their home or can walk a block to the Arlington Reservoir to swim or play. The Minuteman bike path is only 2 minutes away. There is also McLellan Park, a brand new playground on Summer Street that has soccer, baseball and open fields for picnics or walks. If interested in a family oriented area, this is it. You can walk to Mass. Ave to shop while Lexington Center is also close by. The Burlington Mall and Winchester Center are easy drives also. Easy access to Route 2, The Middlesex Turnpike and Route 128. You can get anywhere easily from here. This is country living yet the city is close by.
 

What I love about the home

I love the woodwork. Great fireplace for cozy nights. Quiet, stress free, and lovely part of Lexington. I love to come home to my country home in this friendly neighborhood. Location, location, location.
