This property is the highest point on the west side of the lake and offers excellent views of lake activities, sunrises and the moon reflecting on the water. It includes 2.2 treed acres with 366' of waterfront. Rumor has it that this is the largest lakefront lot on the lake.The main house is brick with almost 2100 sq. ft., three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a 2-car garage that adds an additional 500+ sq. ft. The living area is great-room style with several built-ins: entertainment center with shelves above, an upper wall of bookcase-style shelving, and a floor to ceiling china cabinet/buffet. There is also a wood-burning fireplace with a gas starter and a built-in wood bin. The kitchen has a new double oven and OTR microwave. The dishwasher was replaced in 2009 and has an oversized tub. All three bathroom counters and sinks were replaced in 2012. The roof was replaced in 2012, as well. In addition to the main house there is a cabin on the property, located right next to the lake. The cabin has 672 sq ft, 1 bedroom, 1 bath. The open kitchen, dining, and living area is in an L shape. Cabin was totally renovated in 2009 including new bathroom, kitchen, plumbing, wiring, insulation, walls, paint and wood flooring. It also got a new roof in 2012. The lake, Ellison Creek Reservoir (locally known as Lone Star Lake) is a 1500-acre lake. This lake is maintained as a constant level lake by the steel industry located at the southern end. It is under-used so there is little traffic but it offers good fishing, water skiing, jet-skiing, sailing, swimming and other water activities. This property is located 35 miles north of Longview and I20 and 35 miles south of Mt. Pleasant and I30. Dallas is only 2.5 hours away. This would make a great weekend getaway! The cabin and the house are currently rented.  Occupancy available in early summer 2014 or within 30 days of closing, whichever is later.
