An exciting light infused vaulted loft off the rear stair is an ideal home office or hide-away. The third level has two large Bedrooms with expansive storybook views and spacious double bath. Gleaming hardwood floors 3 fireplaces energy efficient 7 heating/5 AC zones. Specimen trees flowering hedgerows brick walkways and 8 original Philadelphia lamp posts invite outdoor living. Exceptional privacy. Irrigation system detached 3 car garage with 500 square foot lot. Zoned for two horses. Meticulously maintained and in polished move-in-condition. One mile from Ridley Creek State Park. Close to Media train and 15 minutes to Philadelphia airport.

What I love about the home

It has a name! Blue Hill. It is on the late 1800''s US Geological Survey called Blue Hill because the earth beneath is made of blue quartz and serpentine rock. It is a geological and archeological site. Peaceful oasis. Luxurious appointments in every room so this is not austere or a "fixer-upper" as the term "historic" might imply. One mile from the multi-use trail in 2,000 acre Ridley Creek Park. You can see the starry sky because the yard is so big and it's on a hill. The house is solid stone and the brand newer part is made of cedar wood so it has a feeling of nature rather than a luxury development house.
