What I love about the home

I love my neighborhood. I love walking out in my front yard and looking up and down the street at all the beautiful yards and trees. Damascus is a friendly community and provided a wonderful environment for my son to grow up in. Lots of kids, lots of sports and other recreational and educational activities for all levels and all ages. The schools provided a challenging and enriched experience. I love my backyard. It faces east and we get spectacular sunrises. I especially like sitting in our sun room or on our deck and looking out over the expanse of rolling green lawn dotted with trees. We have a large lot (1.22 acres) but it is nicely proportioned so that most of the land is in the back providing privacy and lots of space for fun and games, but enough of a front yard to have a pretty view, mature trees, and enough distance from the road for quiet but not too much driveway to shovel. Our house is large: 4 bedrooms, 3 baths; and has lots of other space, in the family room, recreation room, or office to enjoy being together with family or friends, or by yourself to work or study. My son and his friends could take over the rec room for video games, TV, or air hockey without disturbing guests upstairs. It is a relaxed and comfortable home with rooms that are sunny and bright. The kitchen is a pleasant place for cooking, eating, or chatting with friends. The open living room / dining room area provides space for entertaining. The large family room is cozy for watching TV or listening to music by the fireplace. Lots of storage room too in the extra large 2 car garage or the utility room downstairs. The kitchen has a Corian sink and counter tops, cherry cabinets, and a porcelain tile floor. The master bath is all porcelain tile and mirrors, with Corian sink and counter top, and a Jacuzzi type tub. The second floor hallway bathroom has a porcelain tile floor, Corian sink and counter top, and a deep soaking tub.
