My Notes

Edit
This is a pristine home, which has been graciously and thoughtfully renovated, in a highly sought after white glove prewar cooperative building. Entrance from the elevator landing with only two other apartments is into a large central gallery. On one side is the living room with wood burning fireplace and on the other is the well proportioned formal dining room, currently setup as a library/dining room. A hallway leads to the corner master bedroom with windowed bathroom en suite and opposite a second bedroom with second windowed bathroom adjacent. The windowed kitchen is off the dining room and has all top appliances, including a Viking stove vented to the outside and a Miele washer/dryer also vented externally. The apartment, although fully renovated, retains its many prewar details, including herringbone floors, high beamed ceilings and restored original hardware. The extensive closets have all been custom designed and outfitted to maximize storage space. There are also custom built radiator covers throughout and custom bookcases in the living room, which has a lovely tree lined outlook. Windows are double paned, and there is new wiring as well as new A/C units. The pet friendly building itself is only steps from Central Park and the Reservoir, with Carnegie Hill's best shops and restaurants in close proximity.  More Less
