My Notes

Edit
Enjoy lake life in this older, well kept home nestled on a quiet fishing cove with 100' of shoreline on Lake Norman in Denver, N. C.. This 2011 sq. ft. split foyer home has a game room with a stone fireplace downstairs along with 1 BR, 1 Bath, laundry area and a one car garage. Upstairs there are 3 BR, 1 Bath, Living room, Dinning room, kitchen with double oven, and a deck overlooking the lake and pool. The 16x24 pool has new carpet, liner and filter. The irrigation pump in the lake makes it easy to water the established vegetable garden and perenial flower beds. Next to the house is the community boat ramp for launching your boat. Very convenient. The back yard is fenced and there is a 12x16 storage building. The house has well water and septic but connections are in the front yard if one would want county water and sewer. Please call for an appointment to see this property before you spend too much!! See more comments below!

What I love about the home

$324,000, OBO. We have lived here for 30 years and loved lake life. Skiing, fishing, boating, swimming, cookouts, and golf just a mile away at Westport Golf Club. Westport also has a tennis and swim club. The wild life in our cove is abundant and it has been an adventure to identify all the different birds, fish and animals that live on the lake. The same flocks of geese come to visit each year on their way as they migrate. Ducks bring their babies to learn to swim and blue herins are always fishing. We have moved only because we are older and must downsize to something without steps. The area has good churches and we always felt safe in this neighborhood. The game room with pool table and stone fireplace was always fun at the holidays and we enjoyed the pool each summer. The kitchen overlooks the pool and lake so I always had an eye on things! The kitchen is great if you like to cook. There are 28 cabinets. Room for everything. We loved the house because it is on the lake and we all loved the activities it allowed us. It is difficult to use Lake Norman unless you live on the water and having a fishing hole in the back yard that tournament fishermen use is a real luxury for those who like to fish. Being in a small cove protects the dock from damage from waves and the boat ramp next to the house is very convenient. The closest public boat launch ramp is miles away. We will consider any reasonable offer. Thank you.
