A hiker/walker/biker paradise! Walk to the Mill Valley library, Old Mill Park and Old Mill Elementary School in 10 minutes! Walk to downtown Mill Valley in 15 minutes! Have a cup of coffee, go to 142 Throckmorton for a show, hear awesome music at Sweetwater, enjoy one of Mill Valley?s excellent restaurants. Or just hang out in the Depot Plaza. Walk to Muir Woods in 30 minutes! Walk to Cascade Falls in 20 minutes! Walk to the Stinson Beach in several hours (6.2 miles) Ride your bike about 10 minutes toward designated bike trails leading to Sausalito, San Francisco, Tiburon, Fairfax?. All of this without turning on the ignition in your car! The famous Dipsea trail is 2/10ths of a mile up Hazel. Following the Dipsea trail you can descend into the majestic Redwoods to Old Mill Park, the library, and downtown Mill Valley. Or follow the Dipsea trail to Muir Woods and on to Stinson Beach.
