My Notes

Edit
The West Village is a tree-lined residential enclave that offers artists lofts as well as new elegant glass highrises. This luxury mid-rise is the best of both worlds, a landmark feature of the Area, with classic architectural details in red brick and granite and luxury apartments within. Charming restaurants, shops and townhouses line the angled streets that emphasize the intimate residential feeling. A few blocks north of the building is the trendy Meatpacking District with boutiques, nightclubs and access to the HighLine connecting to the galleries in Chelsea. To the south starts Tribeca.
This luxury mid-rise is one block from the Hudson River Park esplanade that offers residents bicycle paths, running lanes, sunbathing piers, tennis courts, children's playgrounds and the Chelsea Pier Sports Complex. Luxury apartments with Hudson River views include a private townhouse, and duplexes with spiral staircases and lovely gardens or terraces.

      Market guide

Zillow predicts New York home values will increase 3.4% next year, compared to a 1.4% increase for New York Metro as a whole. Among New York homes, this home is valued 93.4% more than the midpoint (median) home, and is valued 160% more per square foot.

Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years. In New York, the number of foreclosures waiting to be sold is 53.7% less than in New York Metro, and 76.2% less than the national average. This lower local number could help New York home values rise more quickly than other regions in New York Metro.
