the first fl. kitchen with fireplace(not working), front parlor, middle parlor(fam room, fire place), dining room, sec. floor- three reasonable size bedrooms, and a much smaller near the master that was a nursery, a full bath, the attick contains three rooms, two are finished. There is a full bath in the attick, (shower), One of the two rooms has two alcoves - and can be used for two separate offices - the third room is unfinished. the heating is gas, hot water.
The outside is alluminum siding - a new roof was put on three years ago.
It is a large house, and is on a street that has some traffic, walton road. The back is a two leveled area that oversees a town park that is several hundred yards away. There are trees between the backyard and the park.
Neighborhood Description
It has gas lights, and is a quite area. It has many communting professionals.
The house will be on the market for about 569K - and is reasonable for that price.
The price is about 100 k higher than the price listed. Realtors have suggested anywhwere from 500-650 but who knows? -
During the summer, the pool is a short walk, it is just past the middle school.
There is an area to eat outside of the pool. And Pizza can be ordered.
The home has 220 wiring, and the wiring in the attic has been updated.
 

What I love about the home

It is very large, and can be modified to ones desires. It has a wooden porch that goes around the front, and wooden screens. It is about 7-10 minutes to walk to the train, and has an express to midtown manhattan (33rd st. Penn Station) The express takes about 30-35 minutes, The 8th ave. lines connect at pen station, and one can wald to most seventh ave. lines. (it is near the A, C, E trains, and then near the 7th ave. If one wants, the local goes to hoboken and the path trains to 33rd street, and near the old WTC are available. that commute takes a little longer. The town has a nice pool, and has a school system that is combined with Maplewood. The highschool is fairly good, and has a good reputation. Seton Hall University is in south orange, and is about 10 minutes away by car.
