Quality built home on five acres with spectacular views in Midway Township, just west of Duluth. Lots of privacy but only 15 minutes from downtown Duluth. If you desire a quiet country home with lots of open space, then this is the house for you. One mile from I-35. 2,600 square feet on two floors with an attached 24 x 24, two stall garage. Super-insulated, built with Minnesota winters in mind. If you like the warm feeling of real wood then this is a must see house. Post and Beam style construction with douglas fir, cedar and pine interior. Cedar siding. Did I mention the spectacular views through the huge south facing windows? 25 miles to the horizon. All electric heat (dual fuel), central air and a stone fireplace that burns wood. The total electric utilities average less than two hundred dollars per month.
Situated on a very secluded property with convenient and quick access to the city. Two baths, one up off the master bedroom and one on the lower floor near two bedrooms, workout room and utility room. Very nice storage room.
The only house on a private road. No view of neighbors and many acres of undeveloped land surrounding this property. A truly unique piece of land. Apple orchard in the back yard.
1,800 square foot shop building that is heated with a gas heater and/or wood stove. 240 volt power within shop building. Separate 240 square foot garden shed for mower and garden tools. Additional acreage is available.
