My Notes

Edit
Exciting materials, attentive detailing and meticulous execution of the updates has resulted in a residence as beautiful as it is comfortable. Expertly remodeled, this is a home with flexibility, ease and style. Modern and classical design elements combine to create unforgettable and sensational rooms throughout. From the farmhouse style kitchen featuring top-shelf stainless appliances (Viking Professional and Bosch) to the spa-like full bath boasting marble slab floors and Ann Sacks tiles to the bonus room off the master walk-through closet that's perfect for a nursery or private study, there's beauty and delightful surprises at every turn. And there's so many bonuses too -- like the Cambridge Soundworks surround sound system, Samsung 55" LED Smart TV, DWR aluminum mirror, plus outside pots, plants and fountain that all stay!
Now In Contract/Pending Inspection! This impressive Tudor in the heart of the North Admiral District enjoys outside spaces as compelling as those inside. The most recent updates included refinishing the entertainment size deck, the addition of landscape lighting, plus a whole house Alpine sprinkler system with rain sensor. Sensational views of Elliott Bay, Seattle skyline, Mount Rainier and Mount Baker elevate the pleasure of living in this beautiful home with its enviable location. Embrace your gateway to the good life!

What I love about the home

We love hanging out and preparing meals in the modern farmhouse style kitchen. We love the views from the jetted tub and shower in the upstairs bath -- plus the beautiful Ann Sacks tile and marble finishes. We love relaxing on the wonderful deck in back. We love the view of the docks and watching the marine traffic on Elliott Bay. We love hearing the sea lions and the sound of the distant trains. We love having a garage off the alley. We love the short walk to Metropolitan Market, PCC, Safeway, Starbucks and the dry cleaner. We love the fantastic nearby restaurants we can walk to including Circa and West City Grill. We love that that it?s only a half-hour walk to Alaska Junction and the amenities there. We love that we can be downtown in 15 minutes! We love being walking distance to Alki and the waterfront path.

Market guide

Zillow predicts Admiral home values will rise 5% next year, compared to a 4.8% increase for Seattle as a whole. Among Admiral homes, this home is valued 48.9% more than the midpoint (median) home, but is valued 18.8% less per square foot.

Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years. In Admiral, the number of foreclosures waiting to be sold is 22.5% lower than in Seattle, and 39.9% lower than the national average. This lower local number could help Admiral home values rise more quickly than other regions in Seattle.
