Open house Sunday 3-25-12, 1:00- 4:00. This is Benchmark Properties - Winner of the GGAR 2011 Revitalization Award - most recently Rehabbed home. This beautiful bungalow has been brought back to life with major renovations. From the Architectural shingles on the roof, down to the refinished hardwood floors. All New kitchen with wood cabinets w/ soft-close doors and drawers, recessed lighting, granite counters, stainless appliances including a gas range. All New electric rewire and light fixtures. All new plumbing. The main bath was enlarged and given a soaking tub w/ tile to the ceiling, new vanity and fixtures. The main floor bedrooms were remodeled and given spacious closets. Sq footage was added to the back door area of the house and a laundry room was added. Upstairs is an amazing space, that could function as the master bedroom or a great room/ artist studio/ etc. The roof was raised over part of the second floor to allow for an exciting design with a spacious bathroom and a huge walk-in closet. Heating and air was added to the second floor with it's own heat pump. Outside a wrap-around, paved driveway was added. The front yard was fenced in with a custom built fence to match the architecture of the era of the house. This home is in a great urban location. Walk to Cleveland Park.
