The first time I set foot in this sizeable, sunny, South-facing home, I was drawn to the view. I bee-lined through the big foyer/gallery area, past the separate windowed Kitchen, through the Dining/Study area and past the Bedroom to the Living Room's big windows - and then I gawked. The bright city-scape view with a glimpse of the Hudson from this higher-floor, Pre-War home with soaring ceilings, classic detail, hardwood floors, and feel-good charm is impressive and inspiring. After peeling myself away from the beautiful vista, I turned around and discovered the sun-splased, cheerful home that unfolded in front of me. Here, the space is generous, the home is peaceful, the closets are ample, the Living Room offers custom bookshelves (and that view!), the Kitchen is both practical and good looking with supreme cabinet space, the big, pretty, windowed Bath is an updated classic, the Bedroom sports custom shelving and a quiet exposure to the East, the oversized hall is a flexible bonus area ideal for a home office, and this residence has the ability to pursue adding a washer/dryer (case by case with Board approval). Here, by Riverside Park and close to every prime Upper Westside shopping and dining destination, is a home with supreme access to transportation and convenience.
