My Notes

This is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home in a good school district, (Thousand Islands)! The home has been remodeled in 2006 with the exception of the kitchen cabinets. The first floor has laminate hardwood floors throughout. The upstairs is carpeted with the exception of the bathroom. This home does have a basement but it is utilized for storage purposes and contains the laundry room. The roof was replaced and a new 12' x 12' shed was added to property both in the summer of 2010. There is an 8' x 22' sun room on the front of the house which is great for morning coffee, or entertaining. There is a community center/library/playground adjacent the property which is great for families and the street is very quite. Depauville is a very small town with extremely friendly residents. The home has a cottage feel to it which is great for relaxing and getting away from the chaos of Fort Drum and Watertown. The Chaumont River runs behind the house and opens up into Lake Ontario 6 miles west of the house. The St. Lawrence River is only about 8 miles north of the house. There is plenty of wildlife in the area and 3 separate locations of state land for hunting and fishing within 10 miles. Shopping is not far away either with Fort Drum 20 minutes away and Watertown only 14 miles away, and Clayton 8 miles away.
The home has base board heating which is run off of a 5 year old boiler that utilizes heating oil. The home receives its water supply from a well which was completely replaced in 2007. The electric hot water heater was just replaced in March 2013. This home requires little to no maintenance. Weather you are looking for a new family home or a vacation cottage, this is the place for you!
