What I love
We love our historic neighborhood and our fantastic neighbors, some who've lived here all their lives. We love our antique heart pine floors, the old oak mantel that reminds us of the family that owned and loved this house before us for over 50 years. Our house is affordable, easy to clean and maintain, and more environmentally friendly than nearly any house around. Shaded by ancient oaks in the summer, heated by a money-saving heat pump in the winter. We can walk to downtown to enjoy Saturdays with the kids or an evening dinner for two. We're on a private circle street with a nice park at the entrance, and with virtually no traffic. So we've got plenty of peace and quiet, but great neighbors to talk to from the front porch on warm spring days!Neighborhood Description
