My Notes

Within walking distance of Frick Park and blocks from Regent Square, this 2 story brick and cedar home has been recently remodeled with modern appliances and furnishings, while maintaining its character and charm.
The inside is completely remodeled, including hardwood floors, granite kitchen countertops, and new bathroom furnishings, floors, and walls. All floors in the home are refinished hardwood (kitchen, dining, living, upstairs hall, and 2 bedrooms), except one bedroom is laminate flooring and the bathroom is laminate tiles. The kitchen has brand new hardwood flooring and granite tiled countertops.
The furnace is gas and the water heater is electric. The house price includes the refrigerator, gas stove, washer, dryer (gas), and microwave.
All fixtures are newly installed -- kitchen sink, bathroom sink and cabinet, toilet, ceiling fans, light fixtures.
Each of the 3 bedrooms has a closet. I use two as bedrooms and the 3rd as my office, which is attached to one bedroom.
The basement is spacious and partially finished and can be used as a game room, band room, or for storage. There is a washer and dryer and a utility sink in the basement.
The fireplace is slate (newly remodeled) and uses gas heat. The fireplace keeps the house very cozy in the winter months and keeps the gas/heat bill low in the winter months.
There is a driveway for off-street parking with a side entrance to the kitchen (which comes in very handy for carrying in groceries) and a two car garage at the end of the driveway.
There is a garden in the front lawn, and a garden in the back yard as well as a rose bush.
Neighborhood Description
This neighborhood is cushioned between Point Breeze, Regent Square and Wilkinsburg. I have lived here for 7 years and have always felt safe and comfortable. The neighbors are wonderful and look out for each other. It is great to be able to walk to the East End Co-Op, Frick Park, Get Go, and if I want to venture out a bit, I can find great soul food and a wonderful Asian grocer.

What I love about the home

I love that it stays pretty cool downstairs, even on hot summer days. I love that it gets very cozy when I turn the fireplace on in the winter. I love the hardwood floors and all of the new fixtures, especially in the kitchen. The big closets are great - there is a walk-in closet in the master bedroom. The house has a lot of charm and character built into it.
