THIS IS THE LARGEST FAMILY DWELLING IN OLD SEVILLE SQ (PER OWNER) TRULY ONE OF THE RICHEST OF HISTORY IN ANY HOMES IN PENSACOLA TODAY!.. Built in 1885 by the Charboniers a French merchant for his family this home has 4/4 16 rooms 6 working fire places 3 kitchens, 2 studios...so so so many things to say...lets start here...in 1979-80 the Pensacola historic district took the task on of refeberising of this house...it still sits on the brick underpins from the original house..that is how sturdy this home, surviving every major storm since it was built!! (only wishing that we had construction like that today) When it was restored the plumbing, electrical, and now a tin roof, it has the 128 years of original construction inside...now awaiting the new owner to take the interior to the next level. This home sits on over 2.5 city lots, and owners feel there may be a way to put an additional home as there was one on the front side facing the home at one time that was destroyed and then deeded to present owner...this would have to be discussed with the city...yet the owners and I Have thought about this...anyway...more info on this special home...listed on the National Ghost list...we are going to have some info on the site...and it is on the national Registry of Historic Places....the home is made with hard wood flooring and 111/2 ft ceilings...the original beams are throughout the house...the present owner has lived in the house 30 years, and is an artist and potter...so each room is used for this purposed...there are 2 covered porches and 3 attic spaces and 2 laundry spaces and there are storage areas and closets...we are just a few blocks from the water and down town...this is a one of the kind special home unlike any others in the city and the district!!
