What I love about the home

Beautiful Spanish tiles cover our radiant floor in living room / dining room. This runs on gas and can heat the entire house. If you prefer wood heat, there is a Vermont Castings stove, and our wood shed holds 4-5 cords. Expansive tiered gardens are attractive and practical, though in need of tender loving care as we didn't grow a garden this year :( We've reaped an abundance of vegetables here in the past. Enriched with lots of manure and compost, our soil is very good quality. The winter green house is solar heated. Large water filled barrels absorb heat from the sun. Multiple beds for winter gardening or starting seedlings in spring. We've grown beautiful, fresh greens all winter long here using only solar heat! A good sized work shop and storage shed included for the putterer. Kitchen has plenty of storage, tile counters and a working fireplace. Island Pond is beautiful!!! Enjoy kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming and blue berry picking (we'll tell you the best spots to pick). In winter, it is quiet and peaceful, a lovely place to sit and look out at the water. Great for birders! We've enjoyed watching a variety of birds both on the lake and in our back yard at feeders looking out the picture windows in living room. The most beloved place in our house is the built in window seat in living room.
