My Notes

This quality constructed townhome by Glover Homes, with superb Wallingford location, is also close to the exciting amenities of North Lake Union (home of 19.1 acre Gas Works Park) and Fremont (aka the "Center of the Universe") -- both are three minutes or less away! Popular Italian restaurant, Cantinetta, is across the street with the Burke-Gilman Trail, cafes, bakeries, shops, award-winning restaurants, tennis courts and playgrounds all close by. What I love about the home

The view of Lake Union and the Seattle skyline is breathtaking on a sunny morning or evening when I drive down Wallingford Avenue.I really appreciate the convenience of Tweedy and Pops hardware store, Pharmaca and QFC all in short walking distance of my home. Oh, and did I mention Trophy cupcakes and Molly Moon ice cream for a little something sweet to satisfy my sweet tooth. One of my favorite Sunday morning walks is to pick-up a coffee at Essential Bakery, walk down to Fremont and hit the Sunday market.. And, if I am feeling ambitious I continue on to walk along the water on the Burke Gilman Trail. It is the best way to exercise that I can think of. There are so many great restaurants in Wallingford and Fremont, but my favorite is Cantinetta, which is right across the street from my house. Old world Italian ambiance and fabulous food. On the fourth of July, I need go no further than from my front door to the street to watch the fireworks, which is really amazing, unless you want to be right down with the action at Gas Works Park, just five blocks down the street. On New Year?s Eve I can enjoy the Space Needle fireworks from the comfort of my bedroom. It is also great to look out the window any evening and see the Needle all lit up.On sunny days, I enjoy working in my backyard to keep it looking beautiful or enjoying a glass of wine with a friend on a warm evening. The Wallyhood News is a hoot and a half. It is a locally sponsored blog that keeps everyone up to date on what is going on in Wallingford. I need not walk more than 50 feet to the bus stop, if I want to go downtown and not have to bother with traffic and parking. I really appreciate that convenience and choice to be ecologically minded. Aside from all the wonderful things there are to do in my neighborhood, I love the peace and quiet of my home. It is my sanctuary when I want it to be and it is a great environment to welcome friends and family to as well.
