The home has good sized bedrooms plus a large study/play room with a marvelous window in front of the house and a look-through fireplace. Large backyard with a 15'x10' shed, two patios, and a natural gas grill hook-up. New back fence (2012), quartz counter tops, tile backsplash and ceramic tile in the kitchen (2008), updated master bath (2010), upgraded windows and doors (2003), new lifetime shingle roof (2010, this roof will actually get you a lower insurance premium with some carriers), and designer paint throughout. Neighborhood Description
A beautiful, old, established neighborhood tucked away among the trees on the south tip of Lake Hefner in N.W. Oklahoma City. This neighborhood is all about location. It is a short 10-15 minute drive to Bricktown, Quail Springs Mall and Memorial Road retail, and Penn Square Mall and N.W. Expressway retail. It literally is in the middle of everything that OKC has to offer. A beautiful short walk to the North and you find yourself at the Southern tip of Lake Hefner at Stars & Stripes Park where you can go sailing, fly a model airplane, or just take a stroll around the 10 mile running and biking track around the lake. The people are great and one drive through the neighborhood lets you know they care about where they live. There is a very strong Neighborhood Association, especially for such an old neighborhood.
