3% commission to realtors, but please only contact us if you have an interested customer, do not contact us to list our home. 
We had an appraisal done in 2013 and the appraiser could not find a comparable property in Buncombe County!
We love the privacy. The only house that can be seen is about 6 miles away. Most of pictures were taken when the house was built but you can tell in the pictures with the snow how big the bushes are now. The landscaping is now mature and there is a second detached 2 car garage as well as two garden spaces and lots of flower gardens.  
The house has a whole house "Generac" generator so you are never without power.
We have two homes in this area so we will consider up to 50% trade for waterfront, farm acreage or hunting property, within about 150 miles of Asheville or a beach house or condo along the NC or SC coast.
We are always doing something to add to the value of this place.  Coming spring of 2015!  We are having the entire yard professionally landscaped.  The price will be increased to reflect the amount that we spend on the project.

The house is on 10 acres which has been subdivided into three parcels. Lots of deer, turkeys and other wildlife make this property their home!
Good gravel road into property (1/2 mi) with several nice homes along the way. NO mobiles
If privacy is important to you, you will NEVER find this much peace and quiet this close to town. 
Just 4 miles to shopping, restaurants, and I-26. One mile off 4 lane Hwy 25/70
Mountain views, you can see the Craggy Mountains to the east and to the west you can see Mt. Pisgah. Some tree removal would be neccessary to get the best views. Watch the sun come up over the Blue Ridge and go down over the Smokies. 
Just 13 miles to the Pack Square in the heart of downtown Asheville.
* Very gentle topography. Would be great for horses/mini farm. You could also add "cabins" for rental income.
We have 1.5Million acres of National Forest within a short drive in western NC and Eastern TN, thousands of miles of hiking, mountain biking, and designated horse back riding trails, ski resorts and World class trout fishing just minutes from home.
