My Notes

Yoder-built home - constructed for his daughter and her family. Second owner has maintained and updated this wonderful, traditional, family home.
Neighborhood Description
Quiet, rural neighborhood, minutes away from freeways, Cuyahoga National Park, Metro Parks, Bath Parks, and all of the city amenities - farmers' markets, shopping, restaurants, 20 minutes to downtown Akron and 35 minutes to downtown Cleveland, and both airports (CLE and CAK). Everyone walks in this neighborhood.

What I love about the home

Hardwood floors, views of perennials in the gardens, quiet, rural neighborhood, centrally located. Yard is actually pretty low maintenance - everything is already planted - just mulch, trim, and mow or pay someone else to do it and enjoy the spectacular views. Very well constructed, lots of crown molding, plenty of light, and yet shaded for cool summer breezes. Lots of built-in shelving, great wall space with spot lights for displaying art. Garden house on cement slab next to fenced organic vegetable garden - could be used for kids' playhouse and play area or dog run. Kids' fort and swings in very private backyard. House is set back from the street and has a very large side yard that is big enough to play soccer or volleyball. Wooded area behind the home. This house will officially go back on the market in April and serious offers will be considered before that (last listed at $374,000).
