My Notes

Edit
Suburbia in the city! All the space you want with quick access to Highways and the hottest parts of both the city and the county. The extra large lot gives you room for a pool, gazebo, or park-like landscaping?whatever you?re dreaming of. This is a rare city find. Space, indoors and out: Two bedrooms PLUS full finished basement with rec room and original Tiki bar with wet sink. Remodeled main bath with just-installed eco-friendly flooring, plus half bath in walk-out lower level. Oversized 2-car garage, plus driveway, tool shed and covered patio. Fireplaces! Plenty of closets and storage space for all your stuff. Efficient, insulated windows. Gorgeous bamboo flooring throughout a spacious living room and dining room. Updated kitchen (new dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator all stay). This house has it all. Plus, you can walk to Shrewsbury Metrolink station, Starbucks, Mom?s Deli, Lindenwood and Francis Park and much more.
Neighborhood Description
One of the most suburban neighborhood in the city, close to all the cool urban things to do but also convenient to the major highways and mass transit. Makes commuting a breeze. Get off the highway: poof. You're home. Lots of newer frame houses mixed in with really old brick homes, and everything in between. An architectural smorgasbord. Lots of dog walkers and things to see when walking. A very active neighborhood association keeps the Park beautiful and the neighbors informed of events and gatherings. Lots of new development on the rise nearby. Very established, yet diverse and comfortable, neighborhood.

What I love about the home

The sunshine through the large window walls, all the closets and built-in storage space, the proximity to a biking trail, grocery shopping, parks, the view from the breakfast table out onto the snowcovered street and the neighbor's hedge in winter. The fireplace in the front room with its brick hearth and rich wood panelling. The huge yard for horseshoes and picnics and the vegetable garden.
