Moved to its current site in the late 19th century, the oldest section dates to 1762 and was part of the Allen family property in the Lakeville Village. With additions in 1850 and 2001, the home has grown, but still retains the original charm and character. Wonderful paneled walls, wide Kings Board floors and two wood burning fireplaces can be found. There is an eat-in kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms and surprising closets and storage for an antique home. A private terrace runs along the back of the home and a separate, buildable lot where one could have a guest house, barn or studio is included.Located minutes from the centers of Salisbury, CT and Millerton, NY, with Lakeville Lake and access to the Metro North train also close.
