Apartment for sale by owner in Washington, DC 20016. 307B is a large one bedroom apartment located at the Westchester, one of Washington's premier art-deco apartment buildings. It offers the unique benefit of an additional room that has been used over the years as a second bedroom (it has its own closet), office and library. The apartment has been totally renovated. The kitchen is equipped with maple cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. All are brand-new. The double-door refrigerator provides filtered water; the microwave unit doubles as a convection oven. The bathroom has a new marble floor and new fixtures, but the classic Westchester bathtub was preserved. The paint is new; the floors refinished (sanded and sealed). All of the woodwork is original and meticulously restored. This is a sunny apartment with beautiful garden views. The Westchester has ample off-street parking, an on-site grocery, gym, and much more.
