My Notes

Newly updated backyard with fairly mature mix of new and old Japanese Maples, all weather deck, shade screens, and iron gates for backyard entrance and entrance to the side storage area with pea gravel in open areas instead of bark which breaks down and is messy. The toilets have recently been updated to Kohler low flush Cimmeron series, 3 gallon hot water heater installed under kitchen sink, and drip line systems in front and back yards so the house and yard are highly water efficient. Upgraded Casablanca 'Smart Fans' throughout the house. Quality two inch wood blinds throughout on all windows. Cast iron and ceramic tub, kitchen sinks, and laundry sink. Bathrooms have porcelin sinks. All tile was upgraded as well as the fireplace mantle when first built. Oak cabinets throughout the house and even in the garage for extra storage. It has an extra room in the front of the house that was used as a formal dining room. However, it can be an office or converted to a 4th bedroom as that was one of the original options. There is a high end alarm system included along with motion security lights in the back and landscaping lights front and back. This house is well maintained and has been professionally painted outside on walls/garage door and gutters and fences this year. Garage door and garage are insulated and a high end Lift Master opener with motion sensor for automatic lighting inside garage. Side fences are wood and the back fence is iron for a premium view of the surrounding area. Freshly painted inside with neutral colors and professionally deep cleaned carpet. Professionally cleaned from top to bottom. Garage, driveway, and all walks freshly power washed. HOA is responsible for all front yard maintenance and surrounding areas. 24/7 security patrol is part of gated community plan and is included in the dues. Medium sized pet friendly park with play ground and picnic area within walking distance. This home is spotless and in like new, ready to move in, condition. 

What I love about the home

I picked this lot with its extra premium price before the house was built for its open view from the backyard to the surrounding neighborhood across the Serrano Parkway. Although, house is not as big as some of the custom homes up the hill, it has a spacious and light feel to it. The layout is perfect and I have always enjoyed living here. Quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors. Good mix of older people and families with kids. The Serrano experience lets one feel secluded with nature while living in a robust bedroom community. Surrounding parks and nature trails still provide habitat for wildlife which is visible on a regular basis. This is a one owner house who has always loved it and the area since I moved in.
