Situated in Carpenter Elementary School district (buyers to verify eligibility/enrollment) and close to Ventura Boulevards upscale shops, cafes, restaurants and the local farmers market. What I love about the home

A beautifully charming Spanish home (built in 1927). Very warm and inviting, with a wonderful skylighted entry, and cove ceiling living area. Amply landscaped back yard with jacuzzi spa and large (360 sq ft.) high ceiling (15 ft) studio behind garage. The street abuts Valley Spring, with no through traffic, leaving the street wonderfully quiet throughout the day and night. We are walking distance, about 100 yards from Ventura Blvd, with many restaurants and shopping of all kinds. A very kid friendly neighborhood, with the highly desired, Carpenter Ave school, very close by. A slice of 1950's Mayberry, in real life. This neighborhood is like traveling back through time, to a simpler era, when people walked to shop and dine, and knew who their neighbors were. Also 2 blocks from the Weddington Golf Course (9 hole course) and driving range. There is also a church on our corner. Very simply, a wonderful place to own a home. An oasis of peace in a hectic world.
