My Notes

This spacious, airy, high ceilinged two bedroom, two bath condominium is in Riverwalk Court, a luxury building designed by Costas Kondylis and built by Related in 2009. Located on the second floor, it gets good light, and has three exposures, (NW and E). The apartment has views to the city and the bridge thanks to its floor to ceiling double paned windows and the placement of the building in a park like setting, ensuring privacy and quiet. The layout is a highly desirable split 2 bedroom floorplan, with marble baths and a washer dryer in the unit. There is very generous closet space in the unit, including two walk in closets. The sleek, modern kitchen is open to the living and dining area, providing a great space for entertaining. Riverwalk Court was designed with all the amenities that enhance our lives, including a 24 hour doorman/concierge, state of the art fitness center, yoga and pilates studio and top floor entertainment lounge. Last but not least, the building boasts a rooftop terrace with dramatic city views that can be used for private entertaining. Transportation via the F train and the Tram are a few minutes walk away. The Tram leaves you off at 60th Street and Second Avenue. Roosevelt Island is the future home of Cornell NYC Tech, a center for high tech graduate studies, scheduled to open in 2017. It is also home to Four Freedoms State Park, a recreational, retail, day care and educational center that sits on a lengthy promenade. Roosevelt Island provides a great lifestyle for those that want the convenience of being very close to Midtown, the UN, and the Cornell/MSKCC, NYU Medical Centers.
