My Notes

Very spacious historic property, built in 1920 by Terry and Etta Miller. Mr. Miller used to play piano for the silent picture show downtown and afterwards would host dancing parties in the knotty pine upper level. LOTS of windows, built-ins in bedrooms, many updates that preserve the historic character of the house.
Neighborhood Description
Quaint historic neighborhood with small town feel. Close to Portland without all the big city clutter. Eclectic mix of generations makes the area full of interesting people. Restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, with municipal elevator to access lower bluff downtown area. Many parks, with the Carnegie Center park and library 1.5 blocks from this house. Summer concerts at the Carnegie Center. Two local farmer's markets. Easy access to I-205 and 99-E.

What I love about the home

Very close to two great parks, lots of GREAT neighbors.

Neighborhood: 97045

Zillow predicts 97045 home values will increase 5% next year, compared to a 5% rise for Oregon City as a whole. Among 97045 homes, this home is valued 45.8% more than the midpoint (median) home, but is valued 27.9% less per square foot.

Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years. In the 97045 market, the number of foreclosures waiting to be sold shrank 31% in the last year. The number of unsold foreclosures is 6.3% higher than in Oregon City, and 44% less than the national average. This higher local number may prevent 97045 home values from rising as quickly as other regions in Oregon City.
