My Notes

In the foothills of Fremont Mission District, this 4-year old beautiful home was completely renovated. An extremely functional and spacious house. Plenty of storge areas, Oversized painted garage, Water purifier and water softner in main supply line, Large Lot size with gated side yards on both sides. Fruit trees in the backyard. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood.
Neighborhood Description
The area around Mission San Jose High School is a very old neighborhood. It is a quiet and peaceful area with plenty of old trees and lots of birds and furry friends in the wild. Mission creek flows by very closeby and the walking trail along the creek leads to Lake Elizabeth Park.

What I love about the home

This is a very unconventional home. The previous owner renovated it in her style. However, it is very practical and extremely functional. All appliances, electrical fixtures and materials used like granite, hardwood floors, tiles, cabinetry, bathroom fixtures etc. are very high-quality and designer style. What we love most about the home is that is is all on one-level and its proximity to the high school- it is practically next door! Next is it's easy maintenance. With polyurathene-coated designer hickory floors, cleaning is a breeze. Granite slabs on kitchen counters and backsplash keep the work surface sparkling. Kitchen also has a mail/computer center. Additional computer room is a bonus. All bedrooms have ample closet areas. Master bedroom is large and master bath has a jacuzzi and designer tiles. Entry door is beautiful with glass oval and the foyer is impressive with high ceiling. Large lot-size allows plenty of room for barbeques, children's play area, adding storage outside etc. The fruit trees yeild bushels of fruit and landscaping is low-maintenence.

Market guide

Zillow predicts Mission Valley home values will rise 2.3% next year, compared to a 3.2% increase for Fremont as a whole. Among Mission Valley homes, this home is valued 19.3% more than the midpoint (median) home, but is valued 14.8% less per square foot.

Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years. In Mission Valley, the number of foreclosures waiting to be sold is 1% higher than in Fremont, and 31.4% lower than the national average. This higher local number may prevent Mission Valley home values from rising as quickly as other regions in Fremont.
