Principle soil type is mostly Milan loam, Class II with a lesser amount of Milan Loam, Class III. The balance of the land is in good native grass and timber providing excellent livestock grazing and habitat for an abundant wildlife population. There are two run off ponds and a very nice clear water spring fed pond providing livestock water and good opportunity for water related sports.
