Gulf Harbors Woodlands large corner lot - 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Home ! Both bathrooms have been remodeled. Features include - stucco & frame construction, 2 car garage, large screened lanai,expansive 33 feet by 14 feet completely refurbished open wood deck which gets the sun all day , separate living & dining plus wood burning fireplace,cathedral ceiling, tile & carpeted floors. Full external repainting completed in January 2014 together with renewal of 3 patio doors and installation of Hurricane picture window at front of home. The work continues....watch this space ?

What I love about the home

Situated on a large corner lot we have Gridley Lane to our left and Dewey Drive at the front which means we are not overlooked and have lots of distance between our home and the $500,000 + homes on the main water channel to the Gulf of Mexico across the street. Similarly, to the rear we have such a large lot that a swimming pool could be easily accommodated. The home is elevated and has an under-structure with 5 foot or so high walls upon which the home is built which makes Flood Insurance either cheaper or if you believe 10 to 12 feet above Sea Level is enough, not required, saving lot of $$$'s if you are prepared to take the risk ? Lots of space at the rear and at the sides means this is a house of privacy and tranquillity due to the large area of land between our home and adjoining houses. Plus, for sun lovers, this property gets the sun from 7 am until 7pm in the Summer making our large and recently extended Sundeck from rectangle to L shape around the side of our home to make sure you can see the Sun beginning to set AND get the gentler evening Sunrays.... very enjoyable. We felt that a pool was not really necessary as we are only 900 steps or about one third of a mile from the Gulf Harbors Woodlands, Residents Pool which is heated in Winter as long as the ambient temperature is 55 degrees Fahrenheit at which point the heaters switch off automatically. GHWA is a deed restricted 369 home community with high standards and the Environmental Committee are on the ball keeping everyones standards up to scratch - A peaceful friendly lovely area right on the Gulf of Mexico in a wonderful neighborhood !
