My Notes

Cottage-style 1920s home for sale in Iowa City's Morningside neighborhood. The house opens into a room that could be living or dining space. The walk-though kitchen has plenty of cabinet space, gas stove, and nice tile. There is one bathroom has a claw-foot tub, likely original to the house. This property has a lot of character with a spiral staircase leading to a loft area with room for a sitting area, reading nook, or more storage. The large living room was added to the back of the house in 1984. This room has windows on three sides and gets a lot of light. In the full, unfinished basement you'll find space for storage and utilities. The house has a newer metal roof which should have a fifty-year life-span with minimal maintenance. The yard is large, fully-fenced, well shaded, and private. Enjoying the back yard is made easy because of the new sliding glass door and spacious concrete patio. Great location in nice neighborhood 1.5 miles from Downtown, Iowa City. There are three bus lines within a block of you that will get you nearly anywhere in the city with ease.  More Less
