Welcome to Oxnard's famed Historic District. This home has been named a restorer's dream and it is a Historic Landmark accompanied by opportunities under the Mills Act and obligations from the Cultural Heritage Board of the County of Ventura. Home has been declared unfit for occupancy by the City of Oxnard and boarded up to keep out unwelcome guests. Tax records state the home has 1,676 sf and 3 bedrooms, 1 bath. There is actually another half bath. Interior wood is dark but not painted. Kitchen was updated many years ago but not in keeping with the vintage characteristics. Grounds and interior need complete restoration. Restrictions and guidelines for any new owner. One-car garage at the rear w/alley access and what might have been at one time some kind of dwelling. Sale is managed by Public Admin/Public Guardian County of Ventura. Home is not lender marketable. 

What I love about the home

This home is in the historic district of Oxnard. It has needed maintenance for some time and has recently been cleared of debris and yard over-growth. There is a nice workshop in the rear of the property will alley access. Unfinished attic affords nice expansion opportunity.
