My Notes

Edit
Extensively renovated by local architect Joel Karr of Group 41, this beautifully designed 3 bedroom, 2 bath single family home features contemporary finishes throughout. Flooded with light, this 1950's residence embraces indoor/outdoor living with two sets of French doors from the main level leading to immediate deck access, multiple patios, three skylights, ocean views from living and dining rooms and city views from a deep, terraced garden. With a gracious combination of mid-century charm and modern living, this home retains its original moldings throughout, hardwood floors, wood burning fireplace with mantel surround and attractive facade with large picture windows and peaked roof.

The main level features two inviting bedrooms and a bathroom boasting custom cabinetry, oversized bathtub, tumbled travertine stone floor and surround. The kitchen was remodeled with cherry cabinets, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and a range with a freestanding hood. After passing through a landscaped front vestibule with up lighting and a burbling water fountain, visitors are welcomed by an inviting front entry with slate floors and spacious coat closet. The master bedroom suite at the rear of the house, is wonderfully designed Campo floors, immediate patio access, custom lighting and a large closet with double doors including a custom storage system,. The master bathroom boasts a whirlpool tub, double vessel sinks, additional storage, granite floors and surround.

As part of the renovation project, the electrical systems were replaced throughout, including main circuit panel and incoming service breaker. More recently the central heating system was upgraded with a new furnace. The garage features one car parking, large storage area with shelving throughout and interior access to the home.

What I love about the home

The house was recently remodeled with high end finishes such as granite, slate, sandstone, marble, cherry cabinets and brushed nickel throughout the home creating a warm and welcoming environment. There are great architectural touches throughout the house by Joel Karr of Group 41. The house is flooded with natural light with 3 skylights, french doors on both upstairs bedrooms and large south-facing craftsmen windows in the dining room and living room. The house is great for indoor-outdoor living with over 500 square feet across two decks as well as a terraced back garden with a patio with ocean views. We also enjoy the fact that we are steps from the beautiful Walter Haas playground with spectacular views of downtown San Francisco. Getting to and from work is easy with BART access downtown and quick access to both 280 and 101 for soutbound commutes.
