This 2700 sqft exuberant tree house retreat is tucked deep into a secluded Oak Creek Canyon gated impasse. The unique home was built by owner/artist around a 20 ft Rocky Mountain cedar log that supports the roof center. Massive rocks from the nearby creek, reclaimed logs, reclaimed colored glass, and Saltillo tiles were used as part of the construction. The main living areas include kitchen, living room, dining room and are built around a central koi pond enveloped by cacti and 20 ft tall tropical plants. A semi spiral cedar staircase leads to second floor sleeping mezzanine, with a bedroom and 2 additional sleeping quarters and the master bathroom. A large green house extends out from the living room. An acquarium separates living room and bathroom. The exterior of the house is equally eccentric with roaming peacocks, several secluded sitting areas, a 1500 sqft roof garden, full sod lawn with BBQ, a spa, and expansive views of the canyon, the creek and the lower gardens and ponds.  More Less
